Portrait Painting in Oil

Instructor: Jeff De Lierre
This 6-week oil portrait painting class, led by Jeff, teaches students to capture the human head with likeness and solidity, working large-to-small, using faceted form-building and vignetting techniques.
After instructor demos, students practice via the Asaro head and photos for the first four weeks, then move to three-hour live model sessions in the final two, progressing from a monochrome palette to the Zorn palette.
