How could 2 people staring at the same person draw them to look different?

Two people can stare at the same person and draw them completely differently because drawing is not just observation. It's interpretation.

Each artist notices different details, prioritizes different shapes, and brings their own experience, bias, and intent to the page. The subject is the same. The seeing is not.

What you see depends on how you’re trained to look.
